Don’t know how many of you live around the Pacific Northwest, but those of you who do have probably accepted it. Winter is here. Which is great if you enjoy snow sports (our family does) since all three of our major ski areas are opening on or before Thanksgiving weekend this year. But snow in the mountains means rain, rain, rain in Seattle. It can’t help but affect your mood, especially while staring out at it during treatment. All those scared and negative thoughts that are so easy to put aside in the warmth and light of spring, summer and fall, come dripping and slithering in…making you doubt every little ache and pain, cough and sniffle.
The holidays should help with that — friends, family, food…keep me busy and distracted, and thankful for what I have.
