It is truly amazing. Once you tell someone you have stage 4 cancer — the topic of medical marijuana comes up. “Oh, I have this friend,” they say…and I say, “If I wanted it, I  could probably ask my oncologist about it..” but then, inevitably, they come back with, “Well, if you ever need some “brownies” I know someone who makes them..” Yikes. First of all,  I don’t feel the need. Second, hello? Just because I have cancer doesn’t allow me to break the law at will. That “cancer card” isn’t a “get out of jail free card.” I’ll stick to my 1x day tylenol…
